Your role primarily involves remotely diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with neurological disorders, with a specific focus on dementia-related conditions. Utilizing telemedicine platforms, you'll conduct virtual patient consultations, perform neurological assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, and Lewy body dementia. Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, providing guidance to patients and their families, and delivering compassionate care through telehealth services are key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
  • Specific experience or training in diagnosing and managing dementia-related disorders.
  • Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.
