Registered Nurse Diagnostic Treatment

We are searching for a full time Registered Nurse to join out Diagnostic Team in Manhattan, NY. The DTC RN ensures quality and safe delivery of nursing services in the Diagnostic & Treatment Center (DTC) and Day Health Center (DHC).  Assesses, plans, implements and coordinates nursing care in the Medical Practice and DHC.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am -5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week

Salary Range: $98,133.10 - $109,333.10, plus full benefits

Education:

• Degree from an NLN accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred
• Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Program required. Baccalaureate degree highly preferred.
• Completed NYSED approved infection control coursework.  A minimum of 8.0 education contact hours that may include contact hours of mandatory training requirements such as infection control coursework

Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year general clinical experience in a certified home health agency (CHHA), acute care, medical surgical, and/or critical care, Nursing Home experience required. Clinical experience must be within one (1) year from date of hire or transfer required.
• Customer Service experience required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the elderly

Certifications:  The following are required certification at time of hire or transfer and must demonstrate recent verifiable experience (within one 1 year) to independently perform:

• IV Therapy
• Phlebotomy / Venipuncture
• EKG interpretation
• Basic Life Support  certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• License: Current active and unrestricted license and registration in New York State required as a Registered Nurse.
• Language: Bilingual preferred
