Excellent opportunity for a full
time Registered Nurse to join a large non-profit health organization in Brooklyn,
NY. The Clinical Educator will facilitate all aspects of clinical training for
Home Health Aides in accordance with NYSDOH regulations and standards. The
educator is accountable for the monitoring, implantation, and evaluation of
clinical training and competencies for HHAs.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am
-5:00pm, 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $105,000 -
@115,000, plus full benefits
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in New York State
- Baccalaureate Degree preferred; Associates Degree required.
- Minimum of two years experience conducting Home Health Aide training and In-services.
- Knowledge of New York State DOH Regulations and Joint Commission Standards
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel to Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn offices as needed.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Facilitates all training for Home Health Aids through NYSDOH approved training program
- Conducts weekly in-services for Home Health Aids
- Conducts new hire orientation
- Initiates skills development programs within the parameters of established care models, monitors trends, and implements educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and parameters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
