Registered Nurse Air Medical Clinical Education Coordinator

Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our air medical team in Phoenix, AZ as a full time Clinical Education Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of essential educational programs for both new hires and existing clinical personnel.

 

Requirements:

  • Requires at least 1 and preferably 3 years flight experience and current licensure (RN or EMT-P or RRT) Bachelors degree preferred
  • Current specialty certification preferred (CFRN, FPC, RRT), otherwise must complete within 24 months of hire
  • Experience in adult education preferred: experience as training preceptor and certified instructor in ITLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP strongly preferred
  • Must possess good writing, speaking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability to relate to clinical EMS staff are essential
  • Must be computer literate with above average software proficiency
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug test and background screen

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the seamless coordination and delivery of required educational programs for new hires and existing clinical personnel.
  • Maintain active participation in program-wide EMS activities to stay abreast of industry developments.
  • Conduct audits to verify completion and documentation of employee educational requirements, with some travel required.
  • Actively engage in web-based course evaluation and development initiatives.
  • Support management in the interview and evaluation process for potential new hires.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Medical Director(s) and the CQI Committee, participating in case review sessions and providing ad hoc educational presentations as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with requirements for active flight status and, when necessary, may periodically function as a primary flight crew member and/or third-person observer.
  • Work closely with the program director and operations managers to assist with outreach education initiatives when available.
