We are
seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team in Suffolk, VA. This position requires the
ability to provide comprehensive care to adult patients in an inpatient setting
during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing
critical care procedures and possess strong clinical skills to manage a diverse
patient population.
Responsibilities
include providing high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients in an
inpatient critical care setting, managing an average of 13 patients per day
with the potential to care for a range of 1-20 patients. The Physician Assistant will perform critical care procedures, including the placement of central
venous lines (CVLs), hemodialysis (HD) catheters, and arterial lines. The role
involves conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing treatment
plans, and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant.
- Active and
unrestricted Virginia medical license.
- ACLS and BLS
certifications.
- DEA
certification.
