We
are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Front Office Receptionist to join our
team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is key to providing exceptional customer service
and ensuring smooth front office operations. Responsibilities include warmly
greeting patients, managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, updating
patient records, verifying eligibility for the Arizona Health Care Cost
Containment System (AHCCCS) or other payment sources, collecting payments, and
handling other clerical tasks. The Receptionist is often the first point of
contact for patients, playing a vital role in facilitating an optimal patient
experience and flow.

Compensation
& Schedule: Starting
at $17.69 per hour. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Requirements:
- High
school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.

A
minimum of three years of combined experience in customer service, patient
registration, or other direct care medical/behavioral health experience
required.

Bilingual
in Spanish is preferred.

Must
always be professional in demeanor, dress, and presentation of person and
materials produced by this organization.

be dependable, punctual, reliable, relate well with others, and able to meet
deadlines.

Must
be able to work with confidential information and materials without betraying
the trust of client/family.

Must
possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of
hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving
convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the
last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during
employment. Must be insurable under our liability auto policy.

Must
pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance
Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a
valid card while employed.

Must
pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing
during employment.

Must
provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.

Must
have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment
and provide an annual update.

Must
obtain a First Aid/CPR Card within (90) calendar days of employment and
maintain a valid CPR Card during employment.
