Temporary to Perm Wound Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) for a temp-to-perm opportunity in New York City. This is a full-time traveling position covering all boroughs, providing wound care services to PACE participants (elderly population) in the field.

Compensation: $75-80+ per hour, pending experience  

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care assessment, treatment, and follow-up for PACE participants in the field.
• Manage 4–5 patients per day, ensuring quality and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document care and progress in the EMR system accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards, state regulations, and organizational protocols. 

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Wound Care Certification (required).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience; prior wound care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with geriatric or PACE populations a plus.
• Ability to travel to multiple boroughs; valid driver’s license preferred.
