We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join a new program in Manchester, NH. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a Level III trauma center. The ideal candidate is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency department.
Assignment Details:
- Setting: Hospital Emergency Department – Level III Trauma
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Coverage Needs: All shifts, including nights and weekends
- Call Requirements: No call
- Patient Volume: Approximately 80 patients per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages with urgent and critical needs.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute conditions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the facility’s EMR system.
- Stabilize and coordinate transfer of patients requiring a higher level of care as necessary.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (EM) – required.
- Active New Hampshire medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in trauma and acute care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
