Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join a new program in Manchester, NH. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a Level III trauma center. The ideal candidate is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency department.
Assignment Details:
  • Setting: Hospital Emergency Department – Level III Trauma
  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Coverage Needs: All shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Call Requirements: No call
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 80 patients per day
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages with urgent and critical needs.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute conditions.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the facility’s EMR system.
  • Stabilize and coordinate transfer of patients requiring a higher level of care as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (EM) – required.
  • Active New Hampshire medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in trauma and acute care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
