In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the health and safety of individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the healthcare needs of individuals and coordinate with staff and outside providers.
  • Educate and train individuals and staff on health-related issues.
  • Monitor medication administration to ensure safety.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for local travel

Required Experience:

  • Current valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse (CDDN) preferred
  • Minimum four years of nursing experience required, with background in community health and nursing case management preferred; alternatively, experience in human services working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities or Acquired Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Certified MAP trainer preferred
