Job Overview:
We seek a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Developmental and Cognitive Services Division. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the health and safety of individuals in our care, ensuring they receive the highest quality of health services. You will collaborate with staff and external healthcare providers to meet the medical needs of the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the healthcare needs of identified individuals and coordinate medical care with staff and outside providers.
  • Educate and train individuals and staff to increase awareness of health-related issues and promote optimal health.
  • Monitor the medication administration system to ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in our care.
  • Ensure compliance with health protocols and maintain accurate health records.
  • Provide clinical guidance to staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $87,500 per year

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Required Experience:

  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of four years of nursing experience required, with at least two years in community health and two years in nursing case management preferred.
    • Alternatively, two years of full-time (or four years part-time) experience in human services working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Acquired Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Knowledge of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse (CDDN) preferred.
  • Certified MAP trainer preferred.
