Registered Nurse Manager

Full Time

 The Nurse Manager will be responsible for training, supervising, and supporting an energetic group of staff nurses and medical assistants. The Nurse Manager will also work with medical leadership to continue to define the future of nursing including improved workflows for care coordination, rolling out nurse education visits and much more. Must be willing to work at there Brighton and Waltham locations. Clinic is open 8:30am-7:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 8:30am 5:00pm on Fridays; and 8:30am-1:00pm on Saturdays. Must be able to work from 8:15am 5:00pm during the workweek, and Evenings and Saturdays as needed in both locations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES  Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Associate Director of Clinical Operations, and Associate Medical Director/Medical Director to ensure smooth patient flow and daily clinical operations at the sites.  Demonstrates clinical leadership and serves as a resource to staff.  Direct reports include RN’s and MA’s.  Direct care areas include primary care, lab and health care satellite extensions.  Guide, mentor, and train new staff (RN, MA’s) and ensure all staff have ongoing clinical support and in-services in order to stay up to date in their field.  Ensure team is ready for audits and inspections.  Responsible for weekly schedule edits in response to any last-minute changes including changes in staffing ratios and sick calls and ensure appropriate Provider/Nurse/Medical Assistant ratios and coverage

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, TRAITS  Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing required, Master’s preferred.  Licensed in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse with 5+ years of experience in nursing with recent clinical experience in outpatient medical setting.  Leadership experience preferred, including evaluation, performance management, and training Experience in diverse culture preferred. • Experience working with historically underserved populations preferred.  Bilingual/bicultural preferred. • Good communication skills, particularly with staff and patients from diverse cultures whose primary language is not English.

Pay Range $89,000-100,000
