Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our practice in Rensselaer, NY. This position offers flexibility with an open schedule, allowing for either a 4-day or 5-day work week, totaling 40 hours per week with 34 patient-facing hours.

The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive adult medicine services for established patients, which include routine care for illness, injury, and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities also include preventive health and wellness screenings, routine immunizations, and preventive inoculations. You will conduct routine physicals, including employment, insurance, and school physicals, as well as manage sick visits by appointment.

In addition to general adult medicine services, our practice offers refugee health assessments in partnership with the New York State Department of Health. Clinical social workers are available on-site for consultation, assessment, and referrals, enhancing the care provided.

The call schedule for this role is 1 in every 13 weeks, with weeklong call coverage from Monday to Sunday.

Requirements:

·         Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

·         DEA Certification

·         New York State Medical License
