Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing behavioral health team just 20 miles south of Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in an environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or relevant experience in psychiatry as a PA-C.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
