Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our outpatient department in Muskegon, MI. This role offers a flexible and supportive environment, allowing physicians to focus on providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Whether you're interested in full-time clinical practice or incorporating academic precepting into your schedule, this position is tailored to meet your professional needs.
As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. You will diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizing preventative care and health management. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals will be essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. You will also participate in a rotating phone call schedule every sixth week, from Monday to Monday. Additionally, there is an option to serve as a preceptor for the Academic Internal Medicine Residency Program attached to the clinic, mentoring and training future physicians.

Requirements:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification.
• Active Michigan state medical license or willingness to obtain before the start date.
