Geriatric Medicine Physician

Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our outpatient primary care and skilled nursing facility team in West Springfield, MA. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a geriatric population, ensuring that each patient receives the individualized attention and treatment they need. The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The provider will see an average of 2-8 patients per day, depending on the patient load.

This role includes on-call responsibilities, with an average of seven on-call days per month, including evenings and weekends for telephone triage. As a Geriatric Medicine Physician, you will focus on providing primary care for elderly patients and managing complex health needs in both outpatient and skilled facility settings.

 

Compensation:  $208,000 - $241,000 (depending upon experience) plus benefits including:

Qualifications:

 

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine
  • Massachusetts license (or willing to obtain)
  • CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration (prior to start)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
  • BLS certification (prior to start)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing patient-centered care
