A leading healthcare facility in Palm Springs, CA, is
seeking a Hospitalist – OB Physician to provide high-quality obstetric care in
a dynamic and well-supported hospital setting. This Hospitalist – OB Physician
position in Palm Springs, CA, offers a flexible schedule with the option of
full-time work at 7.5 in-house 24-hour shifts per month (2,190 hours annually)
or part-time at 5.5 in-house 24-hour shifts per month (1,560 hours annually),
which remains benefit-eligible. Responsibilities include delivery attendance,
OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal
monitoring, and ER coverage for obstetric cases. The physician will work in a 387-bed
tertiary acute care facility, the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella
Valley, serving over 8,000 square miles. The hospital features a 30-bed
community Level III NICU, caring for newborns 23 weeks and above, and attends
approximately 60 deliveries per month. Additionally, there are teaching
opportunities available for those interested in working with fellows,
residents, and medical students.
Compensation:
$150/hour ($328,500 annually for full-time employment).
