We are
seeking a Locums Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate
and comprehensive care to elderly patients in Philadelphia, PA. This position
offers a varied shift schedule and requires on-call coverage every third week
(Monday – Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM, and full-day coverage on weekends). The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary
and specialized geriatric care in long-term care settings, conducting patient
assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans for the
frail and elderly population. Responsibilities include managing acute and
chronic medical conditions, coordinating medication management, and
implementing preventive care strategies.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania NP License
- AANP or ANCC Certification
- DEA & Controlled Substance
(CSR/CDS) Registration
- BLS Certification
- 5-7 years of NP experience
required, preferably in long-term care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
