Locums Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Seeking a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Portland Maine. 

Position Details:

·         Schedule:

o    OR Assignment: 4 days per week (10-12 hour shifts)

o    ICU Assignment: 3 days per week (12-13 hour shifts, including overnights)

·         Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend per month (on call from 6 PM Friday – 6 AM Monday)

·         On-Call Requirements:

o    Surgical Call: 1-2 weekdays per week (6 PM – 6 AM)

Responsibilities:

·         Assist in cardiovascular surgeries and procedures

·         Provide ICU coverage, including overnight shifts

·         Pre- and post-operative patient care

·         Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions

·         Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care

Requirements:

•          Board Certified
•          Active ME License or IMLC
•           COVID & Flu Vaccination Required
