We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in New Brighton, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where your skills and compassion will make a real difference in the community.

As a Licensed Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our Oral Health Care team, assisting dentists, CRNAs, anesthesiologists, hygienists, and dental/advanced therapists in the preparation and direct provision of primary care dental services to patients in our outpatient clinics or at community sites within the mobile delivery program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
  • Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
  • Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
  • DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.
