We are seeking an experienced and
visionary Director of Nursing for Critical Care to lead clinical and
operational excellence across our Critical Care Units. This leadership role is
responsible for driving nursing standards, implementing evidence-based
practices, overseeing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring
high-quality, patient-centered care.
Compensation: $175,000-$185,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all nursing
activities within the Critical Care service line
- Identify, implement, and monitor
standards of nursing practice and patient care delivery
- Lead operational and clinical
quality improvement initiatives
- Provide strategic leadership for
human resource activities, including recruitment, staffing, and retention
- Oversee educational programs to
support staff development and clinical competency
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams to support patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes
- Manage special projects and new
initiatives within the Critical Care area
- Ensure compliance with regulatory
and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BSN) – required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or a
related field – required
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
or related discipline – preferred
- Exceptional experience in lieu of a
Master’s Degree may be considered
- Licensure:
- Active New York State Registered
Nurse (RN) License – required
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of nursing
experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
