Locums Collaborating Physician

We are seeking a Locums Collaborating Physician to join our innovative care team in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on a temporary, part-time basis. This position offers the flexibility of working 1-3 days per week, allowing you to balance clinical and supervisory responsibilities effectively. As a collaborating physician, you will play a vital role in delivering whole-person, value-based care while fostering a culture of health transformation to improve outcomes and reduce costly service utilization.

Your responsibilities will include spending one day per week supervising nurse practitioners and conducting chart reviews. During the remaining 2-3 days, you will provide direct patient care, seeing 10-15 patients daily in longer, meaningful 30- to 60-minute appointments. Supported by a health coach and a collaborative care team, your focus will be on proactive, team-based care designed to enhance patient outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications:

·         Board-certified physician with experience in value-based or managed care models.

·         Active Arkansas medical license.

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with advanced practice providers.

·         Commitment to delivering patient-centered, team-oriented care.
