Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a full time, experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. This position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

This a full time, SIX MONTH assignment with the option to go perm after 6 months. The schedule includes flexible shift options, with 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and 16-hour shifts available. Beeper call coverage is required, with weekday calls scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and weekend calls from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Candidates are expected to complete two call shifts per month, ensuring a manageable workload while maintaining work-life balance.

As a CRNA in this role, you will provide anesthesia care under a 1:4 ratio of medical supervision or medical direction. Responsibilities include delivering safe and effective anesthesia services in line with established protocols, collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, and conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations to develop personalized care plans. You will also be responsible for ensuring proper patient monitoring during procedures and managing postoperative recovery.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
• Active Georgia license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
