Locums Trauma Surgery Physician

A well-established Level II Trauma Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Trauma Surgeon to provide 24-hour trauma call coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly collaborative hospital environment serving the central coast region of California.

Responsibilities Include:

• 24-hour in-house trauma call coverage
• Management of acute trauma cases and surgical emergencies
• Coordinating with hospital staff and emergency department
• Providing timely documentation and consults 

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery with Trauma experience
• ATLS certification
• DEA license
• California medical license (active) – REQUIRED
• Previous experience in a Level I or II trauma center preferred
