Senior Accounting Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst to join the team in Edina, Minnesota. This is a key role for a financial professional with a deep understanding of transaction-level details and financial reporting, dedicated to ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights that drive organizational success.

The Senior Accounting Analyst will work closely with two local office administrators and the corporate accounting & finance team to manage daily financial activities, monthly reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, and depreciation schedules.
• Partner with the administrative staff to analyze data, solve problems, and support operations.
• Lead month-end close and prepare location-specific financial reports to aid decision-making.
• Analyze and communicate cost variances, revenue trends, and service mix to management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain accurate financial records.
• Calculate monthly physician compensation and biweekly provider commissions.
• Support annual audits and implement internal financial controls.
• Recommend process improvements based on accounting best practices.
• Hybrid role (3–4 days/week onsite in Edina, MN); occasional travel to San Antonio HQ.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university.
• 3–5 years of general accounting experience.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, Acumatica, etc.).
• Experience in multi-site accounting is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a strong plus.
