Locums Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Locums Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide Occupational Health services at a well-established outpatient clinic in Frisco, Colorado. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule and the chance to work in a scenic mountain community.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Patient Population: Adults
• Daily Census: 12–14 patients/day

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for occupational health and work-related injury/illness evaluations
• Conduct physical exams, pre-employment screenings, and return-to-work evaluations
• Manage chronic and acute conditions within the scope of occupational medicine
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure quality care delivery
• Document patient encounters accurately using the site EMR system (details available on request)

Requirements

• Active Colorado license (NP or PA)
• Certifications:
• Nurse Practitioner: AANP or ANCC
• Physician Assistant: NCCPA
• BLS (current and valid)
• Prior experience in Occupational Health or Adult Primary Care preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
