Nocturnist Physician - Sign-on and Retention Bonuses

Our rapidly growing, hospital-employed team in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Nocturnist to join our collaborative and highly respected hospitalist program. This full-time position offers a balanced 15-on/15-off schedule, modern facilities, and the support of a full complement of in-house specialties. Practice Highlights:

  • Full-time hospital-employed position
  • 15 on / 15 off nocturnist schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Work alongside a dedicated nocturnist counterpart and Pulmonary/Critical Care physician
  • Supported by Telemedicine Critical Care/Pulmonology and on-call specialists
  • Procedure experience preferred, but not required
  • Experienced day hospitalist team with 2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners
  • 1:5 nursing-patient ratio, adjusted for acuity
  • Average hospitalist daily census: 15 patients
  • Access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and technology

  • 36-bed acute care hospital with full specialty backup
  • 10-bed Open ICU
  • 2 catheterization labs with 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit
  • 5 operating rooms plus 4-room ambulatory surgery center
  • 5 dedicated observation beds
  • 8-bed Emergency Department with experienced, responsive staff

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Montana
  • Experience and comfort with hospital procedures preferred
  • Strong clinical acumen, decision-making skills, and communication abilities
