We are seeking a part-time Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated Post-Surgical Unit in Post Falls, Idaho. This position is a night shift role and includes a benefits-eligible package. The ideal candidate will bring experience, clinical excellence, and a collaborative approach to patient-centered surgical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality hospitalist care to post-surgical patients in collaboration with surgical teams and hospital staff
- Monitor, assess, and manage post-operative conditions and complications
- Document all patient care services accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families
- Participate in Joint Commission continual readiness efforts
- Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure in the State of Idaho as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of employment
- Minimum of five years of experience strongly preferred, ideally in hospitalist or surgical settings
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and continuous readiness processes preferred
