Nocturnist Physician

We are seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nocturnist Physician to join a well-established and respected hospital medicine group located near Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced hospitalists looking for a collaborative, high-acuity environment with a flexible schedule and long-term growth potential.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time = 14 shifts/month
• 10-hour night shifts: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• 6–7 admissions per shift on average
• Cross-coverage for inpatients (68–70 patients total)
• EPIC EMR system
• Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist support—no vent management required
• No procedures required
• Nocturnists run medical codes; airway/line support provided by surgery/anesthesia
• Self-scheduling model—not a rigid 7-on/7-off structure

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Strong inpatient clinical skills and ability to manage admissions and cross-coverage
• Collaborative, patient-focused approach to care
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
