Locums Urology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Urology Physician to provide comprehensive urology services in Galesburg, IL. This position includes ambulatory clinic coverage, OR procedures, and hospital call support to ensure high-quality care for adult patients.

The schedule consists of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with coverage in either the clinic or the operating room. In addition, the role includes 24-hour weekend call and after-hours call during the week. The clinic sees approximately 18 to 22 patients per day, with a focus on adult patients only—no pediatric cases.

The Locums Urology Physician will provide outpatient care in the clinic setting, performing office-based procedures such as Cystoscopy. The role also includes conducting bread-and-butter urology surgeries in the operating room. Additionally, the physician will be responsible for hospital call coverage, supporting the ER and managing emergent urology cases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
• Candidates must be fully licensed or have an IMLC license in hand
