Locums Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a well-established private practice in Fairfield, NJ. The ideal candidate is confident in seeing a broad patient population and comfortable performing minor procedures in an outpatient primary care setting.

Patient Volume:

• 20–30 patients per day 

Required Clinical Skills:

• General Procedures:
• EKG Interpretation
• Minor Surgical Procedures:
• I&D (Incision & Drainage)
• Suturing of Minor Lacerations
• Occupational Medicine Procedures:
• Employment Physicals
• Disability Exams
• Diagnosis & Management of Common Industrial-Related Medical Conditions 

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active New Jersey Medical License
• BLS Certification
• DEA (preferred)
• Experience with occupational medicine is a plus
