Locums General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Pendleton, OR. The ideal candidate will have experience in a broad range of general surgical procedures and be comfortable providing both scheduled outpatient clinic care and emergency surgical services during a block schedule.

Schedule & Responsibilities:

• Shift Type: 7–10 day block scheduling
• Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 24-Hour Call Coverage during each block
• Duties Include:
• Scheduled outpatient clinic visits
• Post-op care and surgical consults
• Emergency and scheduled surgeries 

Required Procedures:

• Diagnostic & Screening Colonoscopies
• Cholecystectomy
• Hernia Repair with Mesh
• Diagnostic EGD
• Excision of Breast Lesions
• Repair of Abdominal Wall with Synthetic Substitute
• Appendectomy
• Skin Excisions
• Hemorrhoidectomy 

Requirements:

• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Active Oregon Medical License
• DEA License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications
• Comfortable using Meditech and eCW systems
