Locums Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care for pediatric patients in Dayton, Ohio. This opportunity offers a wide variety of shift options, a collaborative specialist support network, and the chance to practice in a fast-paced, well-equipped emergency department.

Position Details:

• Shift Options:
  – 7 AM – 3 PM
  – 8 AM – 6 PM
  – 9 AM – 6 PM
  – 3 PM – 11 PM
  – 4 PM – 1 AM
• Weekend Coverage Required
• Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department
• Consultant Support Available:
  Radiologist, Critical Care Intensivist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Neurologist, Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist, Psychiatrist

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to pediatric patients presenting with a wide variety of conditions.
• Collaborate with subspecialty consultants to manage complex cases and coordinate care.
• Perform examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and initiate treatment plans.
• Document all encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Requirements:

• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Active Ohio medical license
