Locums Pediatric Dentist

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Dentist to provide locum tenens coverage in Sewickley, PA. This position offers a unique combination of resident supervision, direct patient care, and opportunities to work in both clinic and hospital-based operating room settings.

Practice Scope & Responsibilities

• Supervise 8 pediatric dental residents in the clinic as they evaluate and treat patients
• Provide direct patient care in both the clinic and operating room settings
• Perform advanced pediatric dental procedures in the hospital OR and North freestanding surgery center
• Collaborate with attending dentists, residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers
• Potential to assist with on-call coverage over the longer term as recruitment efforts continue 

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible 1 to 5 days per week
• Preference for candidates available 2 or more days per week
• Clinic volume: 12–14 patients/day
• OR volume: 5–6 cases/day 

Requirements 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dentistry
• Residency-Trained in Pediatric Dentistry
• Active Pennsylvania Dental License (or eligibility via IMLC)
• ACLS (AHA certified)
• PALS (AHA certified)
