Locums Orthopedics Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgery Physician with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma for a locum tenens opportunity in California. The position requires 24-hour call coverage for general and traumatic orthopedic cases, with a preferred focus on hand surgery.

Position Details:

• Start Date: May 22 – May 31
• Shift Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Call Schedule: Daily 24-hour shifts for the full duration of assignment
• Patient Volume: 20–30 patients on service per day 

Case Types:

• General orthopedic cases (upper and lower extremities)
• Traumatic orthopedic injuries
• Preferred: Experience/training in hand surgery 

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship Trained in Orthopedic Trauma – REQUIRED
• Active California Medical License
• DEA License
