We are
seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with
a strong background in hematology-oncology for a locum tenens opportunity in Waterford,
Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a variety of
hematologic conditions, including benign hematology cases independently.
Position
Overview:
- Schedule: Monday to
Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call Requirements: None
- Weekends/Holidays: No weekend or
holiday shifts
- Setting: Outpatient
hematology-oncology clinic
Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to
patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Independently manage benign
hematology cases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient encounters and
treatment plans accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement
initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner
or Physician Assistant license in Connecticut
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience in hematology-oncology
- Certifications: Current BLS
certification required
- Skills: Ability to manage benign
hematology cases independently is strongly preferred
