Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are urgently seeking a Locums Anesthesia Physician to join a dedicated surgical team in Plattsburgh, NY. The ideal candidate will be available for 1st-call or 2nd-call coverage, including OB anesthesia, and must reside within 15 minutes of the facility during call shifts.

Position Details:

• Location: Plattsburgh, NY
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (call required)
• Call: Includes OB anesthesia; 1st and 2nd call rotation
• Case Types: Bread and butter cases, high volume in orthopedics and general surgery
• Coverage Type: Primary anesthesiologist

Requirements:

• Active New York medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• OB anesthesia experience required
• Must be able to respond within 15 minutes while on call
• Comfortable managing a variety of surgical cases independently
