We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Cosmetic Assistant to join our aesthetics team. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for cosmetic patients, ensure proper documentation and consent, assist with blood draws, and safely apply topical numbing cream prior to cosmetic injectable and laser procedures. You’ll also be an educational resource for in-office promotions and provide support to both clinical and administrative teams.

This position reports to the Skin Clinic Manager and works closely with Cosmetic Nurse Injectors and Advanced Practice Estheticians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Experience & Preparation: Greet and escort patients to the prep room, ensure comfort, and educate them on informed consents, in-office promotions, and upcoming procedures.
• Clinical Support: Perform blood draws for lab work and PRP, apply topical numbing cream to treatment areas, and hand off patients to providers after preparation.
• Documentation & EMR Use: Complete and manage informed consents and procedure notes using the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Team Collaboration & Administrative Backup: Support front desk operations during downtime by assisting with phones, patient check-in/check-out, and helping maintain patient flow throughout the clinic. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Medical Assistant certification or Phlebotomy license with blood draw experience required
• 2–5 years of experience in a healthcare or medical aesthetics setting preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy Certification (Accepted with applicable experience)
