Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our care team in Downey, California. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric populations. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to occasionally provide coverage at nearby clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in either a Primary Care or Internal Medicine setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adult and elderly patients
• Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Document all care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed for business or clinical coverage

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000, based on experience
• Bonus eligibility

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license in the State of California
• Active Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AANP or ANCC)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience managing adult and geriatric patients in a Primary Care or Internal Medicine setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
