Locums Family Medicine Physician

Seeking a Locums Family Medicine Physician in Franklin, VA.

Assignment Details:

• Shift Options:
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Patient Volume: 20–25 patients per day
• Call Schedule:
• 1 week of call every 6 weeks
• Call is for Southampton Practices only
• Call begins Monday and ends the following Monday at 7:00 AM
• Weekend Work: None required
• On-Call Duties: Light phone call coverage, no in-house requirement 

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Conduct physicals, wellness exams, chronic disease management, and sick visits
• Document patient encounters in EMR system accurately and timely
• Provide referrals as needed and collaborate with care teams
• Participate in rotating call coverage as outlined 

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Virginia Medical License
• BLS Certification
• DEA License (required or ability to obtain)
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings preferred
