Seeking a Nurse Manager in Brooklyn
NY to be responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations
within the Department of Nursing, overseeing staff performance and ensuring
high-quality, evidence-based patient care across the Inpatient Service. Working
collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager ensures that
nursing practices align with regulatory standards and the organization’s
mission to deliver safe, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and operational
oversight to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and
hospital protocols.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality
assurance activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance
patient outcomes.
- Support professional development and training of
staff.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN
required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a
Registered Nurse.
- At least two (2) years of leadership experience in a
clinical setting.
- Current New York State RN license and registration
required.
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Areas: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) preferred
- Maternal/Infant Units: Neonatal Resuscitation Program
(NRP) preferred
