Locums Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physician

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locums Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to support our premier value-based primary care group in Tucson, AZ. With four clinic locations throughout the city, our team is focused on delivering high-quality, relationship-driven care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and patient engagement. This locum tenens position offers the opportunity to practice in a patient-centered, team-oriented environment without weekend or inpatient responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient interviews, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
• Deliver comprehensive medical care and chronic disease management
• Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection
• Provide referrals to specialists based on patient needs and clinical assessments
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and care coordination efforts
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
• Provide after-hours call coverage as needed (minimal)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA license
• Tuberculosis screening required
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative, team-based care
