Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient practice in Whitefield, NH, for a six-month locum tenens assignment starting October 2025. This role offers the opportunity to care for a predominantly elderly patient population in a community-focused, rural setting. Candidates should be comfortable managing chronic conditions and working within an interdisciplinary care team.

Start Date: October 13, 2025

Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient primary care services, with an emphasis on chronic disease management and geriatric care
• Deliver 36 hours of direct patient care per week, with 4 hours reserved for administrative tasks
• See an average of 16–20 patients per day
• Collaborate with a dedicated RN team leader and assigned Medical Assistant
• Document care using Meditech Expanse EMR with Dragon dictation support

Requirements:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine (accepted)
• Active New Hampshire medical license, NH locum license, or IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) preferred
• Full payer enrollment required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Experience in outpatient primary care setting
