Locums Vascular Surgery Physician

A facility in Somersworth, NH is seeking a Locums Vascular Surgery Physician to provide hospital call coverage for thoracic and vascular cases. This role supports Level II trauma coverage and is limited to a maximum of six 24-hour shifts per month, including both nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage for vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Respond to emergency and trauma-related surgical needs
• Collaborate with hospital care teams to manage patient cases and post-operative care
• Utilize EMR systems (eCW and Meditech Expanse) for documentation and charting
• Average of 5 patients per shift 

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active medical license in the state of New Hampshire (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable providing call coverage in a Level II trauma setting
• Strong clinical skills in thoracic and vascular emergency surgery
• Experience with eCW and Meditech Expanse is preferred
