Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Nampa, Idaho. This inpatient-only position is ideal for a physician experienced with a full range of interventional cardiology procedures. Enjoy working in a Trauma Level II facility with a collaborative team and robust support services.

Assignment Details:

• Shift Type: 24-Hour Call
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Setting: Inpatient-only
• Facility Designation: Level II Trauma Center
• Beds:
• 18 ICU beds
• 18 Telemetry beds
• 10 CMU beds
• Average Daily Volume:
• 3 consults/day
• 2 procedures/day

Duties Include:

• Cardiology inpatient consults
• Interventional procedures including:
• Balloon pumps
• Coronary stents
• IVUs and IFR (Intracoronary imaging and physiology)
• TEEs (Transesophageal echocardiograms) highly preferred
• Coordination with ICU and cardiology team
• Emergency response as needed 

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – REQUIRED
• Active Idaho medical license – or active IMLC eligibility
• COVID-19 Vaccination – REQUIRED
• DEA License in good standing
