Locums Neurology Physician

We are seeking an experienced General Neurologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment in northern New Hampshire. The provider will rotate between Berlin and Colebrook clinics, offering comprehensive, office-based neurology care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be available for 2–3 weeks per month, ideally in consecutive blocks..

Scope of Work:

• Office-based general neurology services for adolescent and adult patients
• Medication management, patient and family counseling
• Diagnostic test ordering and interpretation
• Referrals to local specialists (cardiology, ortho, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine) and tertiary subspecialty neurology care as needed
• Occasional inpatient consultations
• Communication and coordination with referring primary care providers

• Migraine
• Memory loss
• Essential tremor
• Parkinson’s disease
• Cognitive impairment
• Dizziness and vertigo
• Epilepsy
• Multiple sclerosis
• Polyneuropathy
• Headache 

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Must currently perform EMGs independently (without technician) and interpret results
• Recent experience required – volume per past 12 months must meet clinical privilege minimums
• Proficient in EEG interpretation
• Willing and able to complete NH licensure and payer enrollment processes quickly
• Active participation in the licensure/onboarding process (fingerprints, documentation, etc.)
• No overtime unless pre-approved
• Full payer enrollment required
