We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse
Manager to oversee the operations of one or more nursing units in our
Brooklyn-based healthcare facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the
delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care by managing daily clinical
operations, supervising staff, and implementing strategic improvements. The
Nurse Manager will develop and enforce unit-specific patient care standards,
provide leadership to interdisciplinary health team members, and uphold the
hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
Compensation: $145,000.00
- $160,000.00 Per Year
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of assigned
nursing unit(s) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Develop and implement unit-specific
patient care standards and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise and support nursing staff;
manage schedules, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure accurate and compliant
documentation of nursing care
- Coordinate patient-centered care
conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Monitor and manage staffing levels
and budgetary expenditures
- Address patient concerns and
maintain patient satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to hospital
policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
- Submit monthly reports and contribute to departmental and hospital-wide committees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensed and currently registered as
a Professional Nurse in New York State
- Minimum of three (3) years of
related experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
