We
are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Maintenance to
join our aviation team in Phoenix, AZ. This leadership role ensures the safe,
efficient, and compliant maintenance of all aircraft operated under FAR 135.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in helicopter maintenance,
regulatory compliance, and team leadership within the aviation industry.
Compensation
and Benefits: $100,000

Key
Responsibilities:
- Ensure
all aircraft are maintained in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer
maintenance manuals, and company policies, prioritizing safety and operational
timelines.

Direct
and assist Field Maintenance Managers to uphold aircraft cosmetic standards and
operational readiness.

Monitor
and oversee daily activities of field bases, ensuring timely repairs of AOG aircraft.

Provide
guidance to Maintenance Managers on aircraft maintenance and personnel
management.

Collaborate
with the Director of Maintenance and Maintenance Managers to assign qualified
personnel to each maintenance location.

Keep
the COO and Director of Maintenance informed about significant issues or
developments.

Oversee
field base parts stock, tools, and equipment to ensure proper quantities are
maintained.

Administer
MEL Program and Mechanical Interrupted Flight Reports.

Conduct
field visits, hold meetings with personnel, and ensure compliance with the
Aircraft Cosmetic Program.

Assist
with the submission of Self-Disclosure Reports and develop comprehensive fixes
as required.

Request
Special Flight Permits per 14 CFR 21.197 for aircraft maintenance.

Collaborate
with Flight, Business, and Clinical Operations to establish new bases and
support marketing efforts for RFPs.

Participate
in Maintenance and Operational Board Hearings, Planning Meetings, and other
leadership discussions.

Schedule
and lead meetings with Field Maintenance Managers and update Operations
Specifications as needed.
Requirements:
- High
School Diploma or GED required.

FAA
Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

Minimum
of 10 years of maintenance experience on helicopters, including recent
experience as required by FAR 65.83.

least 5 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry.

Strong
knowledge of FAA regulations, company maintenance manuals, and Operations
Specifications.

Proficient
in communication and management skills.

Ability
to travel as required and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Designated
as Safety Sensitive under the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
