Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000! An established air ambulance provider is seeking an experienced full time Senior A&P Mechanic to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ. This role requires a dedicated A&P-licensed mechanic with at least two years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance on our helicopters. The ideal candidate must be available for frequent travel, including short-notice assignments, and must be able to work night shifts as maintenance schedules dictate.
Schedule: 7 & 7 schedule. Must
live within a 1-hour commute from the base. Frequent
travel between bases as required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on helicopters in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and avionics issues, ensuring optimal aircraft performance.
- Conduct sheet metal repairs and avionics troubleshooting/repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Travel between bases is required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Work night shifts as necessary to support maintenance operations.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity assessment (strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills preferred.
- Must reside within one hour or sixty (60) miles of the base (whichever is greater).
- Frequent travel required, including short-notice assignments during scheduled hitch.
- Ability to work night shifts as maintenance events require.
