First Officer – Fixed Wing Pilot (PC-24)

Full Time

Sign-on bonus of up to $80,000. We are currently hiring a First Officer for our Pilatus PC-24 air ambulance operations based in Houston, Texas. Operating under CAMTS guidelines, this is a dual-pilot, IFR role requiring a high level of professionalism, safety, and commitment to patient-centered air medical transport.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Second-in-Command in a two-pilot crew operating the Pilatus PC-24
  • Adhere to all CAMTS, FAA, and company policies and procedures
  • Participate in safe, timely, and efficient air medical transports for critically ill or injured patients
  • Ensure operational readiness of aircraft and participate in mission briefings and debriefings
  • Work in close collaboration with internal teams and medical crew to ensure exceptional care and safety

Schedule & Location:

  • 7-on / 7-off rotation (day/night)
  • Must reside within 1-hour commute of the Houston base
  • Relocation package available (2-year service commitment required if used)
  • Aircraft transition training may be provided (1-year service commitment required)

Requirements:

  • ATP Certificate – Airplane, Multi-Engine Land
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • Current and qualified on the VE7A certificate
  • CAMTS SIC requirements: 2,000 total airplane hours/ 1,000 hours PIC multi-engine/ 500 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes/ 100 hours night
  • Instrument rating required; dual-pilot IFR experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (internal and external)
  • Must meet body weight requirement of 235 lbs or less
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds (support patient and equipment loading)
  • Must pass physical exam, drug screening, and background check
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Prior experience in fixed-wing air ambulance operations
  • Previous PC-24 time or comparable light jet experience
  • Tuberculosis screening
  • Proof of Varivax, MMR, Tdap, and Hepatitis B vaccinations (or positive titers)
  • Annual influenza vaccination
