General Surgery Physician with Trauma and Acute Care Experience

Join our well-established surgicalist team on a per diem basis, providing trauma and acute care services in a collaborative, physician-led group. This is an ideal opportunity for a board-certified General Surgeon seeking flexible scheduling and strong team support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality surgical care within a trauma and acute care program
• Collaborate with residents, medical students, and a full-time PA/NP team
• Participate in 1–3 shifts per month (even split of day and night shifts)
• Maintain clear communication and contribute to patient satisfaction
• Work within a collegial, clinically focused environment

Requirements:

• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Active Michigan medical license
• Prior experience in an ACS-verified trauma program
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
